PowerNet Referral Program

Our referral program entitles you to a store credit equivalent to one FREE month of dial up Internet access for every qualified referral you send to us.
A qualified referral is a first-time PowerNet Internet customer who properly identifies you with a referral card when they sign up. The new customer must remain a PowerNet customer for at least two months, subject to the rules of the program below.
There is no limit to the number of friends you can refer, so there is no limit to the amount of FREE service available to you.
Participation in our program couldn't be easier. All you have to do is hand out PowerNet's referral cards to your friends, associates and family members and advise them to call us or stop in our offices to sign up for a PowerNet unmetered dial up plan, NEXTEL phone activation, or DISH Network subscription. They must, at that time, remit the referral card with your name and username so we can credit your account. The cards are free, so it couldn't be simpler to earn FREE service!
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS:
Requirements for referral program are strictly enforced and will not be waived/altered for any reason. By using the referral cards supplied by PowerNet, you are agreeing to all policies/requirements.
1. Only active PowerNet customers in good standing, with a current account balance, are eligible to receive referral credits.
2. Referral credits are applied to the referring customer's next invoice. Only PowerNet unmetered dial up accounts, NEXTEL phone activations, or DISH Network subscriptions eligible to generate or receive referral credits. Business accounts must pay sales tax on credited months.
3. Each referral credit has a maximum value of $25.00. There is no limit to the number of referral credits that can be awarded for qualified referrals. Referral credit amount is based on the customers current rate plan.
4. Referral credits are not redeemable for cash. Refunds will not, under any circumstances, be given on credits received for referral program. Credits are nontransferable.
5. The referred customer must remit a PowerNet Referral Card with the referring customer's correct full name and username during sign up. The referring customer must be correctly and uniquely identified with the information given to qualify for referral credit. Only one referring account can be credited per new account. The first-time customer must sign up for an unmetered plan, either annually or monthly.
6. Cards must be turned in at time of sign-up. If sign-up is over the phone, referral card must be mentioned to the PowerNet representative that signs up the new customer. The card must then be returned to PowerNet with the new customer's signed agreement within two weeks of signing up, or referral credit will not be issued.
7. Once a valid account is specified as the referring account it cannot be changed at a later date.
8. Original cards will be accepted only; no copies. Cards will be free to customers requesting them.
9. First-time customers only are eligible to turn in cards.
10. Adding services to an existing account does not qualify for referral credit.
11. The new customer must remain a PowerNet Internet customer, in good standing, for at least two full service months. If the new customer cancels before their second full month is completed, the referral credit will be revoked.
12. This program is valid through December 31, 2000, subject to change without notice. Only referrals made during valid program dates are eligible for this promotion.
13. Referral credits are not valid with any other offer.
14. PowerNet reserves the right to waive or refuse credits for any appropriate reason. Reasons deemed appropriate are at PowerNet representative's discretion only. Examples of appropriate reasons:
* Bad checks received from either referring or referred customers.
